In Dubai Airport

After 6-hours of flight without much sleep in the plane. I finally reached my transit airport, Dubai at 430am. It is intimidating at first to set foot on a total strange place, 5K miles away from home. Although the airport design and architectual are not that impressive as I always imagined for an oil-rich nation, Dubai is indeed an important transit point at present and will be in future. You will notice people from all over the world are hustling bustling here to be transited to another place. A true sensation of a world without boarders, a place of multinational and multiracial. Update next time, off to catch sunrise in Dubai.

Far3well Wish3s

Farewell wish is an act expressing goodwill at parting. Most of the time, one would ask the one leaving to take care and have a safe journey followed by a handshake, a hug or even a goodbye kiss. It is supposed to be warm and touching. It never occured to me that farewell wishes can be funny as well untill recently.

Some of the funny wishes I got;

1. "Enjoy your trip to UK and dont return to Singapore if you are still a virgin."
2. "Dont waste SG air lar, fast fast go breath UK air lar."
3. "Hopefully your plane wont crash into South China Sea."
4. "Safe journey and dont be intimidated by tall people."
5. "Instep only mar, next sem I will get Instep too." quoted from failed instep applicant wai hong
6. "Dont get lost in the 'tall crowd'."
7. "Dont be 'fan shu' there."
8. A friend of mine actually drew a 'ba gua pai' (an eight sided yin yang plate) for protection.

For all others who wish me luck and safe journey, thank you very much. I will surely miss you all very much.

Folding T-shirts

How long does it take you to fold a t-shirt? 5 seconds? 10seconds? or a minute?
I can do it in 2 seconds flat.

I was packing my clothes the other day and I cant helped but felt fustrated because folding t-shirt was such a tiring task. Moreover, I have like over 20 t-shirts. Irritated, I tried google on how to fold t-shirt for dummies. Guess what, now I can fold a t-shirt in just 2 seconds flat. Amazing right? Watch the clip below and folding t-shirt will never be the same again. Enjoy.
